The Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE Multi-Material & Thunderweb Drill Bit Set is a versatile collection of drill bits for a large range of applications.
The Thunderweb Metal 19 Piece Drill set is characterised by a conical shaped web which gets thicker towards the back of the drill bit. Standard drill bits have a constant thickness throughout their length, even at the narrowest point - the Thunderweb core is thicker than that of a standard drill bit. The parabolic web cross section with large web thickness improves the strength of the bit while the flute form design ejects hot chippings quickly and dissipates heat quicker. The result is a longer life for the bit.
These particular bits have a 135° Split point for precision starting meaning that when on the material surface, the drill bit will not wander away from the start point as well as accepting higher feed pressure and torque.
The 8 Piece Multi-Material Drill set has an impact resistant design that allows it to be used on impact screwdrivers, drills and hammer drills. These TCT Hex bits have a white thread allowing them to be located easier and is suitable for working on concrete, brick, roof bricks, blocks, thin metal, aluminium, PVC, soft/medium hard tiles, and all types of wood.
